Andrew S. Kohlberg is the Founder, President and CEO of Kisco Senior Living, LLC. Mr. Kohlberg’s primary responsibilities are strategic planning and capital allocation. Through his timely purchase and development of well-located senior living communities, Kisco has assembled a unique portfolio of assets.
Under his direction, a superb management team has been assembled in specialized areas such as human resources, marketing, sales, risk management, care services and dining. He personally conducts focus groups with residents and staff to improve resident loyalty and associate engagement.
Mr. Kohlberg attended the University of Tennessee and has completed advanced studies at the University of California San Diego in real estate economics and feasibility analysis, commercial real estate development, fundamentals of construction and legal aspects of real estate investment.
He has been a member of the American Senior Housing Association (ASHA), California Assisted Living Association (CALA), and the San Diego Chapter of Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO). In November 2002, the Seniors Housing Council awarded him the SAGE Person of the Year Award for his commitment to the seniors housing industry. In April 2003, he accepted the Icon Award in the Service Enriched Builder/Developer category from the National Association of Home Builders.
Since 2004, Mr. Kohlberg has been an investment partner and Vice Chairman with the Phoenix Suns professional basketball team. He regularly attends basketball games and management meetings.
Prior to joining Kisco, Mr. Kohlberg enjoyed a successful professional tennis career, competing in the semifinals of Wimbledon and quarterfinals of the U.S. Open, was named NCAA Collegiate Player of the Year and was an All American at the University of Tennessee. He represented the United States on the Junior Davis Cup and Sunshine Cup Teams, as well as in the Pan American Games where he won a gold medal.
Chris Wingerberg serves as a key operational team lead for Kisco Senior Living’s Signature community portfolio. With a paramount emphasis on operational excellence, he dedicates himself to delivering top-tier hospitality services, thereby enhancing resident experiences, and ensuring the highest standards of associate training.
Prior to his tenure at Kisco, Chris cultivated over 18 years of leadership experience within the luxury and lifestyle hotel sector throughout the United States. He has honed his skills and expertise in renowned organizations including Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, Evolution Hospitality, Sage Hospitality, DiamondRock Hospitality, and Marriott International. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management along with a Master’s in Business Administration from Colorado State University.
Brianna Harnois, Membership Coordinator at The Newbury of Brookline, extends a warm welcome and supports the sales process during move-in transitions. In addition to her coordinator role, Brianna also organizes events designed to foster our vibrant community atmosphere for both prospects and residents, while also enhancing community engagement.
Prior to joining Kisco, Brianna spent two and a half years at DaVita Kidney Care Inc., where she held diverse roles supporting facilities across greater Boston. Her passion for fostering community through relationship-building is a driving force in her work, and she brings a wealth of experience in creating meaningful connections.
Brianna holds a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management from the University of New Hampshire, where she earned membership in two honor societies for her outstanding academic achievements. Excited to be part of the opening of New England’s first Kisco community, Brianna is dedicated to contributing to its success and enriching residents’ lives through her warm and supportive approach.

Frances Bates joined Kisco Senior Living with a diverse background in hospitality, luxury residential, and senior living industries. Fran’s extensive expertise and demonstrated history of success uniquely qualify her for her new role.
Transitioning from a background in hospitality to luxury residential management, Fran has held pivotal roles at prestigious establishments such as The Hard Rock San Diego, St. Regis San Francisco, and Ritz Carlton Philadelphia. She has consistently excelled in optimizing performance metrics, maintaining top-tier luxury service standards, and cultivating cohesive team environments.
Recognized for her achievements, Fran became an opening General Manager at Ritz Carlton Residences North Hills. Later, she ventured into senior living by contributing to community openings with Aegis and serving as Executive Director at MBK Senior Living’s The Bellettini in Bellevue, Washington.
Outside of work, Fran enjoys music and culinary arts while remaining dedicated to enriching residents’ lives through her professional endeavors and personal beliefs. Fran recently joined The Newbury on February 5 following her relocation from California to Massachusetts.
Originally from Seattle, Washington, Andrea has worked in senior living for more than 15 years. Her first exposure to the industry was as a caregiver, and she quickly and fell in love from day one. “I enjoy the operations and wellbeing support I am able to offer to our residents and their loved ones,” she says.
In 2016, Andrea received her nursing license, expanding her depth of knowledge and the compassionate care she’s able to provide to residents.
Andrea moved to Brookline, Massachusetts in 2023 and is looking forward to opening The Newbury of Brookline as New England’s first Kisco community in Fall 2024.
As a lifelong resident of the Boston area, Donna has over 20 years experience working with retiree and caregiving populations. Working in the insurance, pharmaceutical and caregiving markets, she has gained an appreciation for the new wave of baby boomers who have rewritten what retirement looks like – and looks forward to working with the team to exceed their expectations.
Throughout her career, Donna has led teams to understand what their clients are looking for and the importance of connecting people with the resources that are best for them. “I am a caregiver. I know the importance of decisions people are making: keeping family in the loop and helping with concerns they have while transitioning to levels of care in their life is critical”.
Outside of work, Donna enjoys spending time cooking, entertaining her family, and staying active outdoors. Donna also loves to support organizations and programming for people with disabilities such as TEAM Impact and the New England Disabled Sports Association. She and her family are avid Boston sports fans and have enjoyed the rollercoaster of victories throughout the years!
Jackie Lemoine, Membership Director at The Newbury of Brookline, brings a wealth of diverse experiences to her role. From technology sales management to entrepreneurship and senior living community leadership, her dynamic journey reflects resilience and adaptability.
Originally from the South Shore, Jackie’s career traversed technology sales management and entrepreneurship before leading a successful dance studio venture in New Hampshire for a decade. Relocating to Florida, she served as Sales Director at The Fountains, deepening her expertise in senior living. Upon Kisco’s acquisition in New England, Jackie relocated once more to promote its
culture in her native region. Balancing her professional responsibilities with teaching tap dance classes, Jackie’s commitment to enriching lives extends beyond the
workplace.
With her extensive background, Jackie embodies resilience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for community building. As Membership Director, she is dedicated to creating meaningful connections and enhancing residents’ lives at The Newbury of Brookline.
