The Newbury of Brookline, the newest addition to Kisco Senior Living’s national portfolio of Signature communities, recently celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and an immersive tour. The senior living community began welcoming members in December 2024, and the grand opening event provided an opportunity for members, families, and other local attendees to experience firsthand the elevated lifestyle The Newbury offers.
Guests were invited to explore at their own pace with a custom-designed passport in hand, leading them through key destinations throughout the community. Each stop offered an immersive experience, ranging from lamb lollipops and shrimp cocktail to New England’s best clam chowder shots and a playful “Patty Colada” mocktail, named in honor of a cherished member. These thoughtful touches highlighted the vibrant lifestyle and elevated hospitality that define The Newbury. Located on nearly four acres, The Newbury is nestled in Fisher Hill, a historic neighborhood designed in 1884 by famed landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted and one of New England’s most storied and exclusive enclaves.
“The community’s exterior and thoughtful design are of course beautiful, but we were exceptionally proud to invite everyone to experience the beauty of our connections, members and associates, wellness, and personalized care options,” said Frances Bates, general manager of The Newbury. “The combination of the historic community, exceptional care, and immersive programs make The Newbury a place where our residents can continue to flourish.”
The Newbury of Brookline provides comprehensive care options, including Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care, ensuring members have the support they need at every stage of life. Designed to promote engagement for all levels of living, The Newbury provides a safe, comfortable, and wellness-focused environment.
“We want to say thank you to all who came out to celebrate with us,” said Andy Kohlberg, president and CEO of Kisco Senior Living. “The Newbury exemplifies Kisco’s dedication to elevating the experience of senior living, and we are proud to showcase this remarkable community in such a historically rich and vibrant neighborhood.” For more information or to schedule a tour, please visit https://lifeatthenewbury.com/.
